"I am a healer and an artist. In 1999, I chose to merge the two in a ritual theatre performance called The Living Tarot. The idea came to me in a dream -- people were costumed like the archetypes of the Tarot and delivering profound messages to seekers of guidance about their lives. When the dream unfolded into reality, the Tarot embodied a healing art that was epically transformative for its audiences and its players. Our group covered a broad expanse of the United States each year sharing activated wisdom with its captivated audiences. I relied on my skills as an intuitive, a dancer, and an actor for 4 years. This brought me to my next phase as a healer which was to learn how to use the gift of my healing hands. I became a massage therapist and Reiki Master in 2006 and then learned the practice of Oriental Medicne in 2012, recieving my Masters of OM in 2015."

"Why I chose OM was that I had friends who treated me with OM and I was always amazed at how they could make me feel better by inserting needles in me. It seemed like magic to me and I wanted to learn this magic."

"Now that I've begun my practice of OM, I feel drawn to learning and sharing my musicality with my voice and other instruments. I see the potential of voice and tone as healing as well."

Specialties/Focus in Training: Kirsten has been working in the field of health and well being for 18  years. She is a recent graduate of Oriental Medicine from AOMA Academy of Integrative Medicine. It is through her experience as a Massage therapist and yoga instructor that she was guided to deepen her skill as a healer through her study of Oriental Medicine. It is her life calling to help people return to their highest potential of wellness through patient centered alternative healing with s holistic approach. She specializes in Women's health issues including OBGYN, fertility, and natural youth-enhancing treatments. She sees health and wellness for her patients as a choice of life style changes, self-inquiry, and a commitment to fully embracing one’s journey to ultimate health. It is her greatest desire to guide her patients in their journey to health by offering solutions in Acupuncture, Tuina, Medicinal Herbs, Nutrition, Qigong, and yoga. 

Other interests and values: Kirsten believes that all people have the right to attain health regardless of race, sex, creed, and socio-economic background. She would like to start an outreach group that serves the underserved in their health needs offering them education and affordable alternative healthcare

Musician/sound healer/ composer/sound designer

David has worn may hats throughout his career. He is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, sound healer, music producer, sound designer & composer for film-TV, as well as music technology teacher, He spends most of his time when not out playing (pre-COVID!) music working out of his Austin studio Thirteenth Moon. He relocated from a long studio tenure in Dallas to Austin in 2013.

He has worked &/or played with artists as diverse as Chrysta Bell, Sara Hickman, David Newman, Dave Stringer, Herbie Mann, Everclear, Cheap Trick, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bad Company & many more…

David released a new album December 2019 “Aquarius Rising”. The Independent Music Times said: “Broadly varied, epic in scope, and exhibiting talents stemming from a kaleidoscopic career in professional music production, “Aquarius Rising” showcases David Rosenblad as an unsung veteran of the art with more music in him than a paragraph could ever describe.”

A unique specialty is playing electro-acoustic interactive live music for yoga and has been the lead musician for the International Day of Yoga events at the Texas State Capitol for the past 4 years. One of his greatest joys comes in playing music to raise the vibrations of those around him. 

Venus the Rose is the duo of Kirsten Carter and David Rosenblad.Their songs run the gamut from ethereal pop to bluesy-jazz with bit of nostalgia.They often perform in tandem with David’s solo set.

Austin is the best place to call home. Natural beauty with our springs and parks, Austin offers so much to us locals. I have seen lots of changes but one thing that stays the same is my community of friends. I have been part of the dancing and healing community for over 20 years. I retired in 2019 from retail management and was lead to my true calling as a healer thru my Reiki practice.

We are made up of frequency or energy. Our bodies are the most amazing tool we have to make quick adjustments with thoughts. Moods can change with music, hugging a tree, singing , dancing and noticing the beauty around you. Reiki is fine tuning your body with positive energy. It is very relaxing to the nervous system allowing the body quiet time for healing all over. Mind,body and your health are all benefiting together. Chakras are also tuned during a session of Reiki -- clearing out what no longer serves you with self love. I look forward to any questions . Blessings
